I would like to thank David Dalton, our new SAPA RSR. David, if you read this, I sure hope you know that the work you have done has already made those prior to you look bad. I know that wasn't your intention, but you have set the bar high! In my time at SkyWest I have never seen an RSR actually make a positive change in their first month. Neither have I seen an RSR create an impromptu survey and never have I seen an RSR actually ask a domicile what it wants to fly. Thank you for the hard work and for June, you have played a huge part in making my family happy. Thank you.
My bid for June wasn't anything special. I did the same pairing/criteria format that I have been doing for a long time now. The biggest difference was the amount of good three-day trips there were. On top of that, my wife is at home taking care of the latest arrival, so I had no need to hold weekends off. That really opened up my bid.

Lo and behold, I have been awarded a great line for June. Great by my criteria, of course. Most people wouldn't want as little at 12 days off or 112 hours. The best part about this month is that I could have done a lot of different things. I can hold weekends off. I can hold a lot of locals. But I bid for and was awarded all three-day trips, with great credit too! I love how my bid finished at layer two. That is just beautiful.
