Using PBS (aka bidding) can be difficult for both junior folks and senior folks alike. My main focus on this blog is to simply help you perfect bid by seeing how I go about bidding. I made a nice big post that gives a very basic walk through of the bidding software for SkyWest crew members back in 2012. Five years later there are a couple differences but the end result is still the same. That big post is here: How to Bid post
Also, if bidding during a holiday month, I made a post specifically for that, as there is a different strategy involved in bidding around those specific days. December 2012: How to Bid for a Holiday
I have journaled about my bid and the results during a variety of months and scenarios. At the side of the page, I have grouped topics and months into tags so that you can search this blog for a specific topic if you need. Feel free to browse around and if you would like to give some input, whether questions or comments, please do.
If you need help bidding don't forget about the resources (i.e. the PBS help line) as there are plenty resources out there for you to be successful in your bidding.
If your line award has turned out nasty, Skedplus may be the thing that saves you. It doesn't always work as there are load of variables but it is worth a shot. If you'd like to learn more about SkedPlus, check out my post here: SkedPlus+ post
Sleep well, bid carefully and thanks for stopping by.
